Description of Counselor/Practice
I am a first generation Latinx therapist, born and raised in Southern California. I moved to the PNW in 2016 to pursue my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. Over the past years, I have worked with a wide range of individuals struggling to manage mild to severe mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, dissociations, and issues related to family and relationships. I have also worked with individuals struggling with addictions and recovery, along with their loved ones. Through time spent with each individual, I've recognized the importance of compassion, support, and advocacy towards anyone who is struggling to navigate life during their most vulnerable states.
Some of my specialties are working with:
Trauma related symptoms, PTSD, multicultural issues and generational trauma, substance use addictions/recovery, anxiety and depression, relationship conflict, women's issues, and self-esteem. I work with adults, teens, and couples ages 14+.
I emphasize the importance of genuine connection and believe the first steps of healing is by telling your truth and feeling supported. So I invite you to reach out and see if we would be a good fit to get you on the path to healing.
