MulticulturalCounselors.org is not just a list, it's a network. It's a way to connect and support counselors who share the experience of being/serving people of color/culture. Your subscription of $30 every 6-months supports this culturally relevant referral network through the development and maintenance of this website. Counselors with valid Washington State licensure (LMFT, LMFTA, LMHC, LMHCA, LICSW, LICSWA, AAC, PY, Educational Staff Associates certification) are eligible to join if any of the following applies:

• if you self-identify as a minority ethnicity;
• or you have a Washington State Ethnic Minority Mental Health Specialist (EMMHS) designation;
• or you have training / knowledge to integrate a specific religion into your counseling;
• or you counsel in and fluently speak another language in addition to English.

If you don't see your ethnicities or languages listed, email us to add them after you sign up. Eligibility is on the honor system and MulticulturalCounselors.org cannot be responsible for or verify counselor self-selected categories.
