Description of Counselor/Practice

The mission of Fortitude Therapy is to provide a safe, confidential space that is client centered, collaborative, and supports healing and wellness. By looking through the lens of the other, the therapeutic work focuses on increasing self affirmation in relation to life intersections, a deepening and coalesce of meaning and a bridging of skill development. This will support the navigation of divergent cognitive, emotional and somatic experiences life tends to provide. The primary focus of my work is with People of Color, women, queer/lgbtia and others with an emotion focused, client centered approach with a specialization in trauma to support social, racial and economic equity and affirmation. Some of my approaches are narrative, expressive arts and life span integration.
