Counselors of Color Network Town Hall Meeting

The WA Department of Health hired a new Executive Director overseeing all counseling professions in 2016. James Chaney served almost 30 years in the military and worked within the Veterans Administration prior; he also happens to be a counselor of color!

James has direct input/influence on legislation (RCW) & rules (WAC) affecting counseling standards of practice, education requirements, and other regulatory policies within the State. This Town Hall Meeting is a great opportunity for counselors of color to speak and have our voices heard by someone who can impact current and future counseling policies.
