Counselors of Color Regional Roundtable

The Washington Counselors of Color Network was born out of a need to process, professionally & confidentially, racial issues that arise in client sessions. Our Regional Roundtable provides an opportunity to take on topics that counselors of color may not find support for elsewhere. Licensed/Associate counselors who identify as people of color are invited to gather together to discuss Diversity Discussions: When to Engage, or not.

"Opportunities" to talk about racial dynamics come up in daily life often, perhaps more than we'd like. Whether commenting in session about client situations, on workplace interactions, or public spaces, we'll talk through the risks/rewards of "saying something" or saying nothing.
