!Hola/Hi! Thanks for stopping by and getting to know more about me and my approach to therapy. I am a trans, queer, Latine therapist, and community healer, and I use They/Them/Elle pronouns. I was born in a Caribbean home in New Jersey and raised by a single mom. My upbringing as a first generation student and my QTBIPOC community’s intersectional experiences influence my social work engagement. I am committed to myself and my people’s healing, which includes: Rest, Authenticity, Safety/Security, an ever-burning sense of Worth, and the Reconnection with our Ancestors, and ultimately, our Truest selves. I believe the change we do together in therapy has a domino effect of empowerment for the world we want to create. My approach to therapy centers the reality that healing takes place within our community; thus, our sessions will center our humanness and our therapeutic relationship. My interactions are rooted in re-indigenizing, anti-oppressive, intersectional, mindfulness-based, somatics, bicultural/bilingual, and queer/trans lenses. I want our space together, whether virtual or in-person, to be one where you feel empowered, valued, in control, and listened to. I want all parts of you to be celebrated during our time together.
