Description of Counselor/Practice

I began my journey in the counseling field as an addiction specialist in downtown Seattle, supporting clients who were struggling with complex trauma and substance use. This work allowed me to reflect on how I can support and advocate for my clients when addressing the systemic structures that create disparities and barriers for them on numerous levels. In 2020, I earned my Masters in Arts from the University of WA, specializing in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology, and interned at the Seattle Children's Hospital ADHD Psychiatry Clinic. I have since been working as a therapist with families, adolescents and adults in the community as a mental health counselor. My role as a community-based provider has allowed me to work with clients across age ranges, experiences, and diagnoses. I am passionate about promoting social justice and equity and carry these values into my relationship with clients. I am currently accepting new clients and provide psychotherapy specializing in evidence-based treatment for addiction, anxiety, complex trauma, as well as parenting support, for adolescents and adults.
