I strive to create therapeutic relationships built on trust, safety, and hope, where clients feel empowered to share the tender parts of themselves with the assurance that they will be met with non-judgment and compassion. I believe that all emotions serve as important guides that lead us to greater understanding and acceptance, expanding our capacity to effectively respond to the demands of everyday life. As being both a client myself and a clinician, I believe in the restorative and liberating work of therapy and its rippling impact on individuals, relationships and communities. I enjoy working with individuals regarding issues of cultural identity and identity formation, building self-esteem and confidence, intergenerational trauma, adult sibling relationships, and life transitions. I look forward to discussing options and the possibility to begin a new therapeutic journey together.
Therapy modalities I draw from are: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Brainspotting and Person-Centered Therapy.
