I am a Lebanese-American Licensed Social Worker and am honored to provide support for individuals seeking changes in all contexts of their life, including navigating life transitions, exploring grief and loss, addressing mood concerns, and gaining a deeper connection to oneself, others, and their environment. I've spent several years practicing therapy and social work in medical settings, and have specialized training and extensive experience in supporting clients with perinatal mood disorders, pregnancy loss, and parenting and family adjustments. I work from a social justice framework and develop therapeutic partnerships with compassion and flexibility. With a holistic approach, I tailor therapy to the unique needs of my clients. I’m trained in several modalities, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, IPT, MI, BA and PST, and may incorporate elements of these treatments into our work based on your goals. I welcome collaboration with my clients' support people and providers if desired. My aim is for clients to feel supported and empowered as they work toward their goals and to find a therapeutic fit that is accessible and compatible. I welcome the opportunity to talk by phone for a free 15-minute consultation to get a sense of our fit. I'm currently working with private pay clients, and have sliding scale slots available. I can provide super bills upon request for clients to submit to their insurance. My practice is tele-health only at this time.
