Description of Counselor/Practice

I’m Caitlin Blair, a mixed-race Chinese and White therapist offering services in Washington and California. I specialize in holistic, somatic, and culturally attuned therapy for those navigating life transitions, cultural identity, and the complexity of living between worlds. As the daughter of a Chinese immigrant and with experiences living abroad in Europe and Africa, I deeply understand the in-betweenness of holding multiple cultural identities. My practice welcomes AAPI individuals, multiracial and multicultural clients, third culture kids, transracial and transnational adoptees, and anyone working through anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or challenging family dynamics. I use IFS-informed therapy, trauma-conscious yoga methods, EMDR, and brainspotting to support clients in integrating all parts of themselves, healing from intergenerational and racial trauma, and building lives that honor both their heritage and their authentic selves. Whether you’re navigating family expectations, processing grief from life changes, or simply seeking space where you don’t have to explain your existence. I’m here to support you.
