I feel honored when others entrust their story with me, and it is my goal to offer a safe, supportive space in which to do so. I've had the pleasure of providing therapy over the past 13 years. Much of my work seems to revolve around themes of identity. I work with many clients who are processing complex and systemic issues related to race and ethnicity. Some may be first- or second-generation folks exploring multicultural identity, and at times intergenerational trauma, that can accompany the immigration experience. In addition, I support individuals navigating gender identity and gender transitioning.
You may relate to issues of identity, or you may be facing other life challenges—anxiety, grief, stress, depression, to name a few—that have affected your day-to-day quality of life. And here you are, facing the often-daunting task of seeking a therapist. By doing so, you have already proven you are prioritizing your well-being. It is a significant step.
Let's work collaboratively! After defining the issues you seek to address, we will look at positive coping skills to better manage internal and environmental stressors. I believe everyone has a well of strengths upon which to draw. We will bring these strengths to light. Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope we can work together!
