My name is Christopher Batalon—you can call me Chris. I am a fully licensed mental health therapist who specializes in depression, anxiety, men's issues, identity issues, and multi-cultural issues.
I often utilize a holistic approach when creating treatment plan recommendations, not just focusing on mental health, but on the physical aspect as well. (I’m also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and really enjoy talking about physical fitness if that fits the clients needs).
I am a behaviorist. In session, we will talk about several things (i.e. history of trauma, upbringing, current relationships, etc.) all of which often culminate to individuals creating maladaptive coping behaviors. As a behaviorist, I work with clients to teach them skills either cognitively or physically that aim to create positive coping mechanisms so that they are able to live a life they define as being worthwhile. I also recognize that every client is different and will work with each individual to figure out what it is they want in session. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to perspective clients to see if we are a good fit. Please give me a call as I would love to hear how I can help you!
