You may be considering therapy because you are feeling unbalanced, untethered & unanchored due to all that you're carrying. Maybe you are finding your breaths to be more shallow lately. Perhaps your brain feels foggy & bogged down. You may be angry, enraged & worn down by oppressive, unjust, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, classist & ableist systems. All of this may be taking a toll on how you are able to show up as your true, authentic self. You may be a parent who is feeling overwhelmed by all the demands placed upon you, & you may be feeling like no matter what you do it is never enough. You are not broken & you are enough. There are external pressures & stressors that may lead you to believe you are. I am social justice oriented therapist that uses an anti-oppressive, culturally inclusive & decolonizing mental health lens to honor all parts of you as a human being. I provide counseling to adults & parents/caregivers of children (0-5). There is an enormous amount of complexity to human despair & suffering. You don’t have to bear that burden alone. Together we will explore the various ways in which you stand in your power & honor all parts of your truth. Together will acknowledge history of systems of oppression & challenge dominant social beliefs on our path to collective healing.
