Description of Counselor/Practice

We believe that, while you cannot always control the world around you, you have a choice in how you respond to that world. We are licensed clinical psychologists who have been trained in several different therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and humanistic approaches. Further, we strive to maintain knowledge of various cultures and diversity considerations and an awareness of the impact culture and diversity can have on daily experiences to best support you. We provide collaborative treatment planning and focus our sessions on what is most important to you. Our sessions offer a balanced mix of emotional processing and skill work that you can apply to your everyday life. We use a range of techniques to help you explore your values, goals, and healthy ways to address barriers in your life so you can continue your journey long after therapy has been completed.
