Spring Hecht, LICSW

Description of Counselor/Practice

I offer culturally relevant Individual Psychotherapy to help people heal and develop skills for improving relationships and communication, find new ways to cope with stress, depression and anxiety, and create healthier and more adaptive patterns. My treatment approach is psychodynamic and client-centered, offered in a safe, compassionate and supportive environment. Attachment therapy can help strengthen bonds by resolving old patterns of interacting, and creating space for healthy, rewarding connections. I will listen and provide guidance and encouragement as you develop and achieve your goals. If you are feeling hopeless, alone, stuck or lost, or struggling with a major life transition such as loss of a loved one, divorce, or birth or adoption of a child, or simply seek to live a more fulfilling life, I will partner with you to bring about lasting, transformative change. I believe all people have the power to heal themselves. I have over 18 years experience of helping transform the lives of many individuals, teens and families. I am a transracially adopted person of color with a unique lens and understanding of the lifelong adoption issues that can impact all members of the adoption constellation. I am LGBTQ embracing. I would be privileged to be part of your journey.
