Description of Counselor/Practice
I am accepting new clients starting January 4, 2021, exclusively Telehealth until further notice.
I build a supportive relationship in service of your growth and wellness. I utilize a mindfulness-based, strengths-based, and person-centered approach to support your journey toward empowerment in a world of racial and social unrest. You deserve a space to feel safe, seen, and whole; let’s co-create it together.
I am competent in a variety of evidence-based practices, including but not limited to: Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
I recognize the importance of individual healing, and I also focus on leading healing retreats for women of color to continue to lift up and empower the BIPOC collective.
As a counselor, I thrive on authenticity, transparency, and humility, and I specialize in trauma, grief/loss, and identity. I believe each individual has within themselves what they need to thrive. My hope is to support you in finding what that is for yourself.
