Description of Counselor/Practice

I am daughter of Henry and Patricia Mohn, wife of Daniel, mother to Cyan and Obsidian, sister to Becky, Ruby (identical twin), Henry, and Anita, aunt to many, niece of many. I am Amskapi Pikani (Blackfoot), though was born in Illinois, and am of the Hugh Munro and Kitfox woman/Small Robes clan. I am also of English, Irish, Scottish, and German ancestry. Being Indigenous, I see that relationships matter. Normally, when relationships are going well, we tend to see our lives as going well. When relationships are not going well, we don't feel that we are doing that well, either. My hope in working together with you is to explore how you are doing in your relationships--with yourself, with those close to you, and with others, as issues come up. I am Christian and also include Creator/God/Love as the being whose very breath keeps us alive and able to be in relationship. I am trained in EMDR, and have worked with traumatized people, in addition to others experiencing being HSP, or experiencing ADHD or Autism. And when appropriate, I enjoy working with Micheal White's narrative therapy.
