Description of Counselor/Practice
As an Asian American therapist, I have a deep understanding of the cross-cultural barriers and issues you may be going through. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable enough to share about your past and current struggles and move forward. I am also a Christian, so if spiritual matters or issues are important for you to discuss, please know I would love to provide counseling through a Christ-centered lens as well.
My specialties include working with clients who are dealing with (but not limited to): Relationship Issues, Adjustment to College, Attachment Issues, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Spirituality, Family Conflict, Multicultural Concerns, Women's Issues and Stress. My treatment orientation includes: Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, and Eclectic. Please feel free to reach out to me today by emailing me at office@hopepearlcounseling.com, or visit my website for more information (www.hopepearlcounseling.com). I offer free initial 15-minute phone consultations for you to see if we would be a good fit in a counseling relationship. I’m really looking forward to meeting you! (*Please note that I am an out-of-network provider, so I recommend first contacting the number on the back of your insurance card to find out if your insurance covers out-of-network providers).
