Description of Counselor/Practice

CURRENTLY FULL. As a woman of color, I am particularly honored to work with other people of color or marginalized communities. I specialize in working with oppression of all forms (race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations, religions, nationalities, etc.), in addition to trauma (childhood, adult, intergenerational; sexual/emotional/physical), internalized oppression, its effects (anxiety, depression, body image/eating concerns, relationship issues, etc.), grief/loss, and life transition. I also offer clinical consultation to licensed therapists who are willing to work on themselves and committed to providing quality compassionate care. My hope is that you will experience what it's like to be seen and understood, so that you no longer need to hang on to fear, anxiety, or self-sabotage that keeps you stuck. You deserve to be the best of you while navigating white or privileged/maintstream spaces. You are worthy of living a life of wholeness towards self-love, embodiment, and growth by transcending past/present wounds or trauma. You may not have all the power and privilege in this society but you do not have to give up your voice and the power within, or to oppress other vulnerable ones. I would be honored to help you become the empowered and more balanced and peaceful you, despite all the unrest and injustices in this world! I am happy to chat for a 15-min free consultation.
