Description of Counselor/Practice

As a woman of color, I am particularly honored to work with other people of color or marginalized communities. I specialize in working with oppression of all forms in addition to trauma (childhood, adult, intergenerational; sexual/emotional/physical), internalized oppression, and its effects (anxiety, depression, body image/eating concerns, relationship issues, etc.). I also specialize in grief and loss and offer grief support group as well as couples counseling. My hope is that you will experience what it's like to be seen and understood, so that you no longer need to hang on to fear, anxiety, or self-sabotage that keeps you stuck. You deserve to be the best of you while navigating white spaces. You are worthy of living a life of wholeness towards self-love, embodiment, and growth by transcending past/present wounds or trauma. You may not have all the power and privilege in this society but you do not have to give up your voice and the power within. I would be honored to help you become the empowered you! I am happy to talk or meet for a 15-20 min free consultation.
