LAURA PRECIADO, PHD, MA

Description of Counselor/Practice

As a therapist trained under a scientist-practitioner model, I strive to integrate clinical experience with current research to support you in reaching your personal goals. I provide support and healing in a culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, and compassionate way. I naturally adopt a strengths-based approach to empower my clients to arrive at their own answers, embrace a holistic understanding of their identities, and develop skills to better navigate relationships. As a multicultural competent therapist, I am continuously mindful of the way cultural and socio-political factors impact our sense of identity and how we function in the world, therefore I strive to respect your worldview and values by providing a safe, sensitive and nonjudgmental environment.
