Description of Counselor/Practice

*I am dually licensed in HI and WA* I am experienced in working with people with anxiety, bipolar, depression, grief, and trauma. It is my great interest to provide a safe space for so-called minorities (People of Color/POC, LGBTQ+, immigrants, etc.). With 15 years of my career in social service/healthcare settings, I relate well with those who are in the same fields striving for making other's lives better. I am a state Certified Geriatric Mental Health Specialist and often assist caregivers for their loved ones who have dementia and/or chronic medical conditions. I came to the US 20 years ago and have understanding of immigration stress ranging from being an international student to raising own bicultural/bilingural family in a foreign country. Pleae feel free to email me in English/Japanese! 電話もメールも直通です。日本語でお気軽にご連絡ください。Online counseling only. My hours are from Monday to Thursday, 9:30AM to 3PM. For Kaiser insurance, I can only take Options/PPO plans. Please check the front page of my website for my current availability.
