Description of Counselor/Practice
I embrace diversity and individuality. As a multiethnic and multiracial woman, I am passionate about honoring your unique identity and story. Life and work stressors, multicultural issues, women's issues, shame/guilt, self-esteem, identity, emotional regulation, grief, creativity, and relationship issues may be areas you want support navigating. We will co-create together the course of our work, based on what is meaningful to you. I offer a warm, compassionate space for you to explore your multidimensionality and gain insight, empowerment, creativity, and expansion, drawing on your innate resilience and capacity to heal and thrive.
I received my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, MA in counseling and Drama Therapy from Antioch University, and Certification in Expressive Art Therapy from Northwest Creative and Expressive Arts Training Institute. My work is integrative, holistic, and dynamic. I work from a strength-based, social justice, feminist, and Jungian Depth theoretical orientation, while also offering avenues for creative expression. The work will be tailored to you, shifting to meet you where you are at.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and incorporate a somatic approach to wellness. My background in the arts, massage therapy, and Reiki created a foundation for a creative, holistic approach towards personal healing and wellness. Your unique story matters.
