Graduate Student Counselors of Color Table Talk

Started as a grassroots effort in 2013, the Washington Counselors of Color Network's goal is to support counselors of color throughout every season of their careers - from student to supervisor. We organize free or low-cost events & consult groups to provide an opportunity to take on topics that counselors of color may not find support for elsewhere. Working towards mental health and social justice involves many complexities and challenges. Combine this with being counselor of color, experiencing vicarious trauma while also navigating your own journey with systemic oppression and institutionalized racism. All graduate students from any school who identify as people of color pursuing counseling are invited to this free event sponsored/facilitated by WA Counselors of Color Network professionals.
