Description of Counselor/Practice

Navigating life’s pressures can be difficult, especially when compounded with the impact of painful life events, intergenerational trauma, and broken systems. It can be incredibly daunting to seek help, particularly when our identities are targeted or misunderstood. In therapy, we will collaborate to create a safe, affirming, and warm environment in which you can unpack your life story, learn tools for growth, and forge a path towards healing. I utilize an integrative and holistic approach to therapy and include aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and somatic-based interventions to help address your goals. I also offer EMDR therapy to help address trauma and significant life events. Taking this step is courageous. I believe that, as the expert of your own story, my role is to work alongside you as you move towards your goals. It would be an honor to support you as you begin this journey and commit to yourself.
