Description of Counselor/Practice

Healing is a journey that elicits transformation in our inner landscapes. Healing never takes place in isolation. We heal in caring, compassionate, and non-judgmental relationships. Our work together is a mutual collaboration concentrated on self inquiry, exploration of your unique unmet needs, and cultivation of pragmatic value-congruent practices to meet these needs. Our work together also acknowledges that we are human and multifaceted. That intersectionality of both our marginalized and privileged identities have an impact on how we navigate through the world, as well as the lived experiences we embody both past, present and future. The healing process is a hero’s journey that asks of each of us to have the courage to consciously examine hidden parts of ourselves, parts of ourselves we have banished into exile. Our work together explores and re-examine the insidious internalized narratives and core beliefs that continue to oppress us and limit our potentialities. We will work together to cultivate spaces of sanctuary, spaces with the capacity to hold all of who we are and who we are becoming. If any of what I shared resonates, you are welcome to reach out for a free 30-minute consultation. May you have the courage and compassion to attend to your needs. Kind regards Lekea
