Description of Counselor/Practice

Hi, I'm Brenda. I'm glad you're here. Telling your story can be an incredibly powerful and validating experience. As we grow and evolve, our interpretation of our past experiences changes. Reframing these experiences with the knowledge that we have now can help us understand who we are today. Whether you have specific goals in mind, or are just looking for more support, I'm here to listen without judgement and to serve as an empathic guide on your journey. I am passionate about social justice issues, and work through a feminist, anti-oppression lens that takes into account the impact of systemic racism, sexism, ableism, queerphobia, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination. I work collaboratively with you to provide care that is tailored to your unique circumstances. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit. Let's see if our connection feels natural and take it from there.
