Description of Counselor/Practice

I'm trained to work with adults suffering from mood disorders, anxiety, substance abuse, domestic violence and interpersonal difficulties. I'm also specializes in working with Muslims, multicultural families and immigrant populations challenged with assimilation and other issues. I'm a licensed social worker, independent clinical associate. I have 3 years of training in psychotherapeutic interventions from the university of Washington, where i acquired a Masters in Social Work. With a Bachelors in Sociology, I'm passionately driven to make a positive impact in people's lives. I approach each person as a unique individual. I enjoy working with adults from a wide variety of social and cultural backgrounds. I'm fluent in English, French, Wolof and Soninke. (And a few others you have never heard of:) I'm passionate about helping clients remove barriers to their personal goals and i appreciate seeing clients progress in their own unique ways.
