Domenique Edwards, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC
Description of Counselor/Practice
I am thrilled to be accepting new psychiatric patients ages 6+ in my newly opened West Seattle private practice, Domenique Edwards, PLLC! I provide outpatient psychiatric services including diagnosing and prescribing for children, teens, and adults. I believe people of all identities are inherently worthy of quality psychiatric care and I am a proud ally to those who identify as racial minorities, queer, or other marginalized/vulnerable groups. To connect, I non-judgmentally listen and immerse myself in what the patient is saying and have been known to (tastefully) use humor during sessions. Due to being a one-woman-show and restrictions/regulations inherent in U.S. health plans, I only accept self-pay (credit, debit, & HSA/FSA/HRA cards) currently.
I am board-certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and I have broad experience across diagnoses including: (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, bipolar, psychosis, insomnia, personality disorders, and schizophrenia.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, from Vanderbilt University located in Nashville, TN. I also earned my Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University (School of Nursing).
