Scarlett is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and state approved supervisor. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling (emphasis in Marriage, Family, & Child Therapy) from Webster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy from the University of Florida. She has experience working with a variety of populations including, but not limited to: individuals, couples (married/non-married, LGBTQIA+), at-risk youth/adolescents, pregnant teens, athletes, war veterans, and the foster care system. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques such as, but not limited to: psychodynamic, person-centered, solution-focused, expressive therapy, family systems, etc. She believes incorporating a holistic approach (psychological, physical, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects) will help foster and promote growth, healing, and development. She believes a healthy therapeutic relationship, through acceptance and trust-building, will help elevate and encourage a client through various situations.
